2016: Adam Segayer
Adam Segayer, a 2nd year Electrical Apprentice was named Apprentice Of The Year 2016 by the then Group MD, Ian Gratte, at the Annual Awards ceremony at Regent’s Wharf in October. Adam excelled on site, and impressed his mentors by demonstrating a good work ethic, willingness to learn, excellent attendance and timekeeping and a positive attitude towards his work and colleagues. This is a very promising start to his career in the building services industry, and we look forward to seeing Adam’s career progress. As a Group, we’re committed to supporting early careers.
2017: Jayden Twigg
2017’s Apprentice of the Year winner was 1st year Mechanical Apprentice Jayden Twigg, who was presented with his award by David Gratte, HR Director at the Annual Awards Ceremony at Regents Wharf in October. Jayden won his award for his solid work and safety ethic, willingness to learn, excellent attendance as well as timekeeping and a positive attitude towards his work and colleagues. Congratulations Jayden!
2018: Jefferson Guerrero
Congratulations to Jefferson Guerrero, Apprentice Electrician who won the Apprentice of the Year award in 2018 for his demonstration of a good work ethic, willingness to learn, good practical skills and exemplary attendance, punctuality and conduct both at work and college. Jefferson was one of four apprentices nominated for this award. Congratulations also go to Brandon Wilson, Apprentice Electrician who received the Outstanding Contribution Award for going above and beyond his day-to-day role when he delivered an impressive presentation to industry professionals at very short notice at a Supply Chain workshop earlier in the year. Well done to all of our exemplary apprentices!
2019: Brandon Wilson
At 2019’s Annual Long Service & Retirement Presentation, held on Thursday 3rd October, Brandon Wilson was announced as the 2019 Apprentice of the Year. Brandon, a Stage 4 Electrical Apprentice has impressed his mentors and supervisors both at work and college this year, demonstrating a good work ethic and willingness to learn. His Site Supervisor said that Brandon takes pride in his work to maintain a high standard and is a good team player who will help out where possible to get the job done. Brandon’s college tutors also described him as a very polite and hardworking student whose attendance and punctuality are very good and believe he is on course to becoming an excellent electrician. David Gratte, HR Director commented on the night that ‘Apprentices play an important part in the future of our company. They help us to maintain the continuity of skills in our directly employed workforce. They are also the next generation of Site Managers, Engineers and possibly Directors.’ Congratulations Brandon!
