Carnegie Club Project Scoops ceda award | 2017
The £365,000 kitchen designed and installed by Gratte Brothers for the prestigious Carnegie Club at Skibo Castle in the Scottish Highlands won the ceda Grand Prix Award in the Medium Projects category. Ceda presented the award at their annual Conference Gala Dinner in March for the exceptional quality of design, project management, installation and customer service. The high co-ordination of all parties on this project was key to meeting the exacting standards of the design brief.
Ceda Grand Prix Award Win | 2018
In 2018, we won the Grand Prix ‘Small Projects’ Award from ceda for fine-dining restaurant, Sorrel, in Dorking. The theatre style kitchen not only encompassed the restaurant’s open kitchen philosophy and the latest cooking technology but also complemented the 300-year-old, Grade II listed building.

In 2019, we were honoured to be shortlisted for the ceda Grand Prix Awards in the ‘Outstanding Customer Service’ category. This recognition was a testament to our exceptional work with Simmons Bakers Cafés, where we provided expert kitchen fit-outs and ongoing support. With award entries up by over 30% that year, securing a spot on the shortlist underscored the industry’s acknowledgment of our superior customer service standards. The awards ceremony, held at the CEDA Conference in Oxfordshire, brought together the best in the industry, and we were proud to be among them.

Shortlisted for Project Management Excellence | 2021
In 2021, Gratte Brothers was shortlisted for the CEDA Grand Prix Award in the Project Management Excellence category. This nomination recognised our exceptional work on a £1m+ fit-out project for a multinational investment bank in Canary Wharf. The project spanned four floors, including a Bulk Goods In/Storage area in the basement, a Traders Deli on Level 2, the Main Staff Restaurant on Level 4, and an Executive Dining Facility on Level 5. Managing a project of this scale required meticulous planning, coordination, and execution—qualities that our team exemplifies in every undertaking.
