Gratte Brothers Group is delighted to report an Accident Incident Rate (AIR) of 0 in 2019 with no reportable incidents across the Group.
This massive achievement is the result of a huge team effort by everyone in the company and we are delighted to see the outcome of the HSEQ Strategy and drive across the Group on Health & Safety in 2019.
In 2019, we promoted Health & Safety via a number of campaigns and awareness promotions within the business and also increased the number of trained mental health first aiders, from 2 to 6 with further increases planned for 2020. Last year also saw all job roles placed under an annually reviewed occupational health programme as well as a rise in the number of Health & Safety comment card submissions, ensuring constant improvement of Health and Safety provisions, as a result of the provision of a QR Reader. Importantly, Green Card awards nearly doubled in 2019 also. The cards are a great way to show appreciation of those who continually maintain high Health & Safety standards!
