At this year’s Annual Long Service & Retirement Presentation, held on Thursday 3rd October, Brandon Wilson was announced as the 2019 Apprentice of the Year.
Brandon, a Stage 4 Electrical Apprentice has impressed his mentors and supervisors both at work and college this year, demonstrating a good work ethic and willingness to learn. His Site Supervisor said that Brandon takes pride in his work to maintain a high standard and is a good team player who will help out where possible to get the job done. Brandon’s college tutors also described him as a very polite and hardworking student whose attendance and punctuality are very good and believe he is on course to becoming an excellent electrician.
David Gratte, HR Director commented on the night that ‘Apprentices play an important part in the future of our company. They help us to maintain the continuity of skills in our directly employed workforce. They are also the next generation of Site Managers, Engineers and possibly Directors.’
