Last month Megan, our 3rd Line IT Support Engineer and Aneta, our Engineering Information Coordinator attended the Women of Silicon Roundabout Conference 2019. This 2-day event incorporates inspirational keynotes, panel discussions on business strategy, technical classes, and career development workshops that additionally enable people and organisations to learn and take action on gender diversity.
Speakers this year included Baroness Karen Brady, Sonia Cargen (Group Diversity Officer for American Express), Dr Rebecca Pope (Head of Data Science & Engineering at KPMG) and Joanna Chwastowska (Engineering Lead at Google DeepMind Health).
