Gratte Brothers Catering Equipment Limited is delighted to have been awarded ‘Distributor of the Year – South of the UK’ at the 2020 Kitchen & Equipment Awards. This accolade is awarded annually to an outstanding supplier in the South of England or across Wales.
The award recognises all of the team’s hard work this year, which has allowed the business to remain operational despite the various restrictions and importantly continue to exceed customer expectations. An example given upon nomination of this award was during the early days of the pandemic when one of our Engineers attended a client site within 2 hours of them reporting a broken walk-in freezer. The site was supporting their local council by producing over 1,000 meals a day for local vulnerable people. Gratte Brothers identified the problem and the part required, which was only available in Cannock and immediately drove there and back to collect and install it.
