We are delighted to announce that we have become a corporate partner of the Women’s Engineering Society, in their centenary year.
The Women’s Engineering Society is a charity and professional network of women engineers, scientists and technologists offering inspiration, support and professional development. Their mission is to inspire and support women to achieve their potential within the industry, whilst working collaboratively to encourage the education of engineering and supporting companies who are gender inclusive in order to create a diverse engineering community.
Announcing this new corporate partnership David Gratte, HR Director, commented “As an employer the company is committed to supporting the career progression of our engineers and for our female engineers in particular the Women’s Engineering Society offers an excellent way to deliver that support through its programme of activities.
Attracting more females into engineering is an industry responsibility and the work that the Women’s Engineering Society does to raise the profile of engineering in schools and among women more generally provides an opportunity for Gratte Brothers to contribute. The Associate Member category, open to male engineers, allows for all our interested staff to be involved.”
We’ll be attending the WES Centenary Conference in March!
