The Beales Group can trace its roots back over 250 years. In 1769, baker John Beale moved his business to London’s Oxford Street and in 1889, the family diversified into catering with the establishment of Beales Restaurant in Holloway. The premises were sold in 1969, and the sixth generation of Beales steered the business on to its present course; hotels.
Beales is a contemporary 4-star hotel catering to a wide selection of clients and functions. To maintain the hotel’s modern catering facility, Gratte Brothers Foodservice Solutions undertakes two planned preventative maintenance visits each year.
There is one kitchen on site, containing equipment such as; Rational combi ovens, induction and gas-fired ranges, fryers, upright refrigeration, and wash and ware stations. It meets all of the hotel’s catering needs including room service, the restaurant, and events held in conference areas.
The maintenance of this equipment therefore requires a fast response from the inducted engineers. With the hotel open throughout the year, Gratte Brothers provides a 24-hour call desk with on-call service engineers.
