A coming together of old and new and located at what was the heart of original Roman London, Eastcheap Court has been newly redesigned to BREEAM Excellent standard, providing best-in-class office accommodation within a smart environment. Gratte Brothers maintains this multi-storey, multi-tenanted, intelligent building, which also includes a sophisticated control infrastructure for a commercial property consultancy company via a Mobile Engineer.

A Seamless Transition

As with any new development, there are a number of unavoidable growing pains, which arise as a building transitions from redevelopment to operational. Therefore, we provided a high level of support throughout this transition to make the process seamless.

This included undertaking initial surveys and asset verification without charge in order to create a baseline for our onward maintenance proposals as well as providing advice and support in their management of outstanding project warranties.

Supporting Smart Technologies

To ensure we continue to deliver in line with the client’s priorities and support their processes, we make sure to keep their bespoke compliance system up to date so that they have a full audit trail and we also support them by providing any small project works required throughout the building.

Extensive investment in sustainable systems and smart technologies was also made as part of the redevelopment. Therefore, our responsibilities also include supervision of a range of specialist sub-contractors, including Mitsubishi who maintain the heat pump generated hot water systems and Siemens who installed and now support a range of intelligent systems on site including BMS, fire detection, fixed security systems and VisitNet.
