Nova, SW1

Nova, SW1 was born from a vision to revitalise Victoria, London. The 556,000 sq ft, mixed-use development comprises three buildings and a 17-unit food quarter. It’s one of the largest developments undertaken by Landsec, the UK’s largest commercial property development and investment company.

The premium development provides two office blocks and a residential building as well as open public spaces and walkways which allow pedestrians to walk between surrounding landmarks such as Westminster Cathedral, Buckingham Palace and the Houses of Parliament. The food quarter solves the lack of places to eat and drink in the area and brings a number of smaller businesses to the area in order to support brands on the rise.

Gratte Brothers Security Systems & Software was delighted to once again have been appointed by Landsec to deliver the site-wide security systems installation and continues its presence on the development through the provision of security maintenance for all systems. The shell and core installation (completed in 2016) is comprised of an IP CCTV head end system, access control system, statistical software suite, full lift integration system and intercom system for the landlord and residents across the three buildings which includes a combined basement of four levels, energy centre and 182 high-end residential apartments.
