Our Principal Contractor capability was given a ringing endorsement following a visit from the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) Inspector to one of our Data Centre sites in April.
The Considerate Constructors Scheme is designed to encourage best practice beyond statutory requirements in three categories; the general public, the workforce and the environment.
Inspectors visit regularly and score a site across categories. Each section is scored out of 9. Gratte Brothers scored 8 (Excellent) for Care About Appearance, Protect the Environment, Secure Everyone’s Safety, and Value their Workforce and 7 (Very Good) for Respect the Community.
The opening paragraph of the Inspector’s report states “Gratte Brothers, when appointed as main contractor, present a most positive image of the industry equivalent to those presented by the most established national main contractors and developers for whom they are often found working as a trade specialist.”
There was particular praise for the Wellbeing Station and the high levels of safety on site. Well done to the team for these fantastic and well deserved scores!
