Gratte Brothers Group is currently recruiting for an Assistant Buyer to join our King’s Cross team.

About the Role:
As an Assistant Buyer, you’ll collaborate closely with senior team members, supporting them in delivering outstanding results, while also taking ownership of smaller contracts to further enhance your knowledge & experience. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring the efficient purchase of materials and services essential to our contracts. Your focus will be on achieving the best value while maintaining quality and efficiency. Additionally, you’ll oversee the supply of general materials to sites, and work alongside our HSEQ department to manage the economical and sustainable disposal of surplus materials.

Experience & Skills:
- Being either in possession of, or working towards a CIPS qualification is desirable, but not essential.
- Essential experience & skills:
- Experience in a previous buyer’s role
- Competent & confident with English and Maths.
- IT proficient with a strong working knowledge of MSFT Office.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise.
- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
